Calling all night owls: Scott Library offers 24/5 extended hours

The York Libraries are now providing 24-hour study space on the first floor of the Scott Library. The extended hours are available Sunday to Thursday, starting immediately and continuing until the end of the fall academic term, March 3.

Study space, computers, photocopiers, printers and group study rooms will be available to community members, 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. The Central Square section of the Scott Library has 155 study seats and 16 computers available for use.

Extended hours of operation will also be available for the rest of the Scott Library, including library collections, for the rest of the fall term.

The libraries remind those who rely on public transit to keep in mind that the last Toronto Transit Commission bus leaves the Keele campus at 1:45am. The first morning bus arrives on campus at 5:45am.

During the evening hours, patrons are encouraged to take advantage of the goSAFE program, which operates daily from 6pm to 2am.
