Michael Whealen was a writing instructor and course director with the Centre for Academic Writing at York University. Mr. Whealen died on March 6.
Predeceased by parents Barbara and Pat, Mr. Whealen is survived by his brother Bryan and many colleagues, friends and students at York University.
A memorial service for Mr. Whealen will be held today from 1:30 to 2:30pm in the Scott Religious Centre, 144 Central Square, on York’s Keele campus. The service is open to all members of the York community.
