The Osgoode Hall Law School Library gets ready to move

The Osgoode Law Library has begun implementing its relocation plan in advance of the renovation and construction of the law school that is scheduled to start this September.

Effective immediately, all texts in the call number range KF 396 to KF 5500 will be located on the fourth floor of the Scott Library. The remainder of the Osgoode library collections will be moved in phases over the course of the summer and the location of the texts will be reflected in the York University Libraries’ online catalogue.

To avoid disruptions and allow the library staff to reorganize the collection prior to moving, the Osgoode Law Library will be closed on Fridays and weekends until the end of August. The library’s opening hours during the reorganization will be Monday through Wednesday from 9:30am to 4:30pm and Thursday from 9:30am to 9pm.

The library will resume normal hours of service on Monday, Aug. 31 to coincide with the start of classes at Osgoode.
