The Financial Times (FT) of London has ranked the Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA (EMBA) Program at York University the number one EMBA program in Canada and 23rd in the world.
This is the third year that Schulich has been eligible to participate in the FT ranking and the third straight year that the EMBA program has been ranked number one in Canada. The FT ranking measures a wide range of criteria, emphasizing in particular EMBA graduates’ salaries and salary increases, which are strongly influenced by region- and country-specific factors, as well as international dimensions.
“We’re pleased to have once again been ranked by the Financial Times of London as the number one EMBA program in Canada and among the leading EMBA programs in the world,” said Schulich Dean Dezsö Horváth (right).
In placing 23rd globally in the Financial Times ranking, the Kellogg-Schulich EMBA program finished ahead of the University of California, Los Angeles, and just behind the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, its EMBA partner school. Among EMBA programs based in North America or involving North American schools, the Kellogg-Schulich EMBA ranked 12th. Among Canadian programs, the Kellogg-Schulich EMBA ranked ahead of the EMBA program delivered by the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, in 29th place; the University of Western Ontario's Richard Ivey School of Business, in 30th place; the Alberta-Haskayne EMBA (a joint program delivered by the University of Alberta School of Business and the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business), in 36th place; and the Queen's School of Business, which ranked 65th.
