At approximately 3:30pm on Wednesday, March 10, a student entering Pond Road Residence was approached by two male suspects. The student was on his cellphone at the time. One of the suspects grabbed the phone away from him and, with the accomplice, fled the scene on foot.
The Toronto Police Service is investigating the incident. The first suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 20 years old, with short black hair and a thin build. The suspect was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a white crest on the front, left chest and two white stripes on the wrists and collar. The sweatshirt had a large, white print across the back.
The second suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 20 years old, with a thin build. The suspect was last seen wearing a black Yukon-style hat and a black jacket with a small white logo on the back collar.
