Family Campaign co-chairs University Professors Ross Rudolph and Ronald Pearlman invite all faculty, staff and retirees to give York to the Power of 50 one last push toward its $200-million fundraising goal. To date, more than 2,400 members of the York University community have demonstrated their support, well beyond the goal of 2,009 participants by Dec. 31, 2009.
To make your gift count toward the York to the Power of 50 campaign, the most successful fundraising campaign in York’s 51-year history, make sure the donation or pledge is received by 11:59pm on April 30.
Participants may designate their gift to an area of personal interest or significance, or they may choose to help fund one of York’s four priority needs: research, infrastructure, student financial aid, and chairs and professorships. Several flexible payment options are available, such as one-time gifts, payroll deductions, monthly gifts and installment plans for larger donations. Those making gifts of $1,000 or more, or who pledge $2,500 over time, are eligible for recognition on a special list of Family Campaign contributors.

“Every donation you contribute takes us one step closer to our goal,” says Pearlman. “Your participation in this historic campaign sends a strong message to potential external supporters that York’s ‘family’ believes in the future of this innovative University.”
