Police investigate robbery at VIVA bus stop

York Security reports that at approximately 10:40pm on Monday, Nov. 1, a York University student sitting on a bus at the VIVA bus stop was approached by a black male who entered the bus, grabbed the student’s cellphone and fled with three accomplices who waited outside. The suspects headed east towards the Harry Sherman Crowe Co-Op Building on the Keele campus. No injuries were sustained.

The Toronto Police Service is investigating and has issued the following suspect descriptions:

Suspect  No. 1 – male black, 6 feet 3 inches, medium build, short dark hair, wearing a bluish purple hoodie with a gold design all over it and dark blue baggy jeans;
 
Suspect  No. 2 – male black, light complexion, 6 feet 3 inches, skinny build, wearing a brown zip-up sweater;
 
Suspect No. 3 – male black, 5 feet 6 inches, short dark hair, wearing a grey hoodie and dark pants;

Suspect No. 4 – male black, 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 6 inches, wearing dark clothing.
