The Glendon Musical Ensemble will present its main performance of the academic year, C’est la Vie! A Musical Evening of Songs from Innocence to Experience, starting tomorrow.
The performance will take place Feb. 10, 11 and 12 at 7pm in Glendon Theatre, 2275 Bayview Ave., Glendon campus, under the direction of Glendon students Lucas Dixon and Lesley Valiente. The group will perform several choral and instrumental pieces centred on the theme of life as a journey.
Each song reflects emotions from different stages in life, including the blissful joys of childhood and the excitement of falling in love for the first time, as well as the tears and heartaches during trying times and nostalgic reflections into one’s past.
It’s a show for the ages, as well as a show for all ages – a journey from innocence to experience.
Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. The Theatre Box Office will accept reservations beginning Feb. 6 at 416-487-6822. Tickets are “Pay What You Can” with a recommended donation of $5 for students and $10 for non-students.
