Chase away the winter blahs by checking out York’s Annual Health Fair on March 2, from 10am to 3pm, in Central Square on the Keele campus.
Coordinated by Health Education & Promotion, the health fair offers lots of ideas and plenty of information on how to live a healthier life.
Exhibitors from across the Greater Toronto Area, as well as many University departments will be at the fair offering information on healthy eating and physical activity, stress management, smoking cessation and healthy sexuality.
Everyone who visits the fair will be given a "bingo card" and encouraged to drop by the information displays and receive a sticker for the card. Once you have two lines of stickers, enter a prize draw for a chance to win a variety of prizes.
Exhibitors include:
- Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention
- Counselling and Disability Services
- Health Education & Promotion
- Leave the Pack Behind
- Toronto Vegetarian Association
- York Lanes Dental Office
- YFS Health Plan
- Canadian Blood Services
- Plus many more...
