The Olimpiad S. Ioffe Professor of International & Comparative Law Peter Lindseth of the University of Connecticut’s School of Law will deliver the third European Union Centre of Excellence (EUCE) Lecture in European Law & Governance.
Lindseth will talk about “Power and Legitimacy: Reconciling Europe and the Nation-State” March 8, from 12:30 to 2pm in 108 Osgoode Hall Law School, Keele campus. York Professor Sakis Gekas, 
the Hellenic Heritage Foundation Chair in Modern Greek History, will be the discussant.

He is the author of Power and Legitimacy: Reconciling Europe and the Nation-State (Oxford University Press, 2010), co-editor of Comparative Administrative Law (Edward Elgar Publishing, 2010) and Transatlantic Regulatory Cooperation: Legal Problems and Political Prospects (Oxford University Press, 2000), and co-author of Administrative Law of the European Union: Oversight (ABA Publishing, 2008).
