New staff nominee set for York University Board of Governors

As a result of an election at large, Janet Morrison has been nominated by full-time non-academic employees for membership on the Board of Governors.

In total, 647 votes were cast and all three candidates received substantial support. After confirmation by the Board of Governors  in June, Morrison will begin serving a two-year term effective July 1.

Morrison is the executive officer in the Faculty of Health. Last month she was honoured with the 2011 President’s CPM Award.
