Staff of Ontario community colleges represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) went on strike early this morning, but York University activities will continue as scheduled.
OPSEU Local 561 was expected to hold an information picket in front of the Seneca@York facility (Stephen E. Quinlan Building) on The Pond Road, Keele campus. There will be no information picketing permitted on York University property, including entrances to York University buildings.
The TEL building is a York University facility and regularly scheduled classes by York University faculty will meet as usual.
