Are you interested in finding a better way to get to York University? If so, why not consider attending the University’s annual Transportation Fair taking place tomorrow, Sept. 14, from 10am to 3pm, in York Lanes.The fair is free and open to everyone in the University community.
Representatives from GO Transit, the Toronto Transit Commission, Brampton Transit, VIVA and York Region Transit will be at the fair. You can also find out more about the many environmentally-friendly ways to make your way to the University from Zip Car and Smart Commute North Toronto/Vaughan staff, who will be at the fair to talk about alternative ways of getting to the University, including walking, biking, carpooling and more.

Also on Wednesday, the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension information centre will officially open its doors to the community. Learn more about the construction and see the architectural models of the York University Station and the Steeles West Station by visiting the centre, which will be open each week on Monday from 1 to 3pm, Tuesday from 11am to 1pm and Thursday from 11am to 1pm. The TYSSE information centre is located in York Lanes adjacent to the dry cleaners near the south east exit of York Lanes.
