Due to a localized power outage caused by off-campus damage to one of the main electrical feeds to the Keele campus, the University has lost electrical power to both the Accolade East Building and the York Research Tower.
As a result, all activities scheduled in these buildings have been cancelled for today, Friday, September 16th. Classes affected will be re-scheduled by the Registrar’s Office in consultation with the programs affected. Faculty and staff with offices in these buildings will not be able to access their offices today.
Campus Services & Business Operations is working diligently with building personnel and contractors to restore these two buildings to normal operation at the earliest possible time.
