Two internationally renowned musicians, violinist Jacques Israelievitch and 
cellist Shauna Rolston, will perform together Monday at Vanier College.
They will perform 20th-century works by Swiss composer Arthur Honegger, Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály and Czech composer Erwin Schulhoff, on March 19 in The Renaissance Room, 001 Vanier College, from 5 to 6pm.

French-born Israelievitch, concertmaster of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra for two decades and a music professor at York since 2008, has performed with orchestras and chamber groups around the world, and with some of the world’s best cellists. He is equally in demand as a conductor and a teacher.
Rolston is an award-winning Canadian cellist known for her blazing technique and ability to captivate audiences.
She has performed around the world and inspired more than 50 new works for cello, including several concerti by Canada’s leading composers. A prolific recording artist, she has been a professor of cello and head of strings at the University of Toronto since 1995.

The performance is sponsored by the Office of the Master, Vanier College. It is open to all and will be followed by a reception.
