Marko Dakic, a member of the York University Lions men’s volleyball team, has won a spot on the Ontario Volleyball Association’s (OVA) 20U men’s indoor provincial team.
Dakic, an outside hitter from Mississauga, had a superb rookie campaign with the Lions, earning a place on the OUA’s all-rookie team. He played a significant role for the Lions, coming up with big points when called upon. Dakic compiled 40 kills and 14 blocks, averaging 1.3 points per set in his first season with the Lions.
