Top three male tennis players expected to compete in Toronto

With Rafael Nadal of Spain now ranked No. 2 in the world, up from No. 3 after beating No. 1 world ranked singles player Novak Djokovic for the title in Rome last month, the upcoming Rogers Cup is bound to be exciting.

Djokovic of Serbia, who is expected to be playing in Toronto in August, won the Rogers Cup last year for the men’s singles title in Montreal. Roger Federer of Switzerland ranked No. 3 in the world having taken the singles title in Madrid last month is also expected back in Toronto. Federer has won the cup twice before – 2004 and 2006.

Family fun weekend is once again on the roster with free access to the grounds and qualifying matches Saturday, Aug. 4 and Sunday, Aug. 5.

In addition, the Harlem Globetrotters will play on the Saturday at 2pm. Tickets for the Harlem Globetrotters at Rogers Cup will go on sale Saturday, June 23 at 10am and can be purchased from Ticketmaster or by calling 1-855-985-5000. Family four-packs are available starting at $79.
