The York University Bookstore has revised its faculty and staff services pages on its website to make it easier to navigate. Visit the York University Bookstore website and click on Faculty Services to see what’s new.
The first thing you may notice is that the main page is divided into three sections, as follows:
Section One – Textbooks:
This section provides direct buyer contacts for all faculty and staff. Book buyers are listed according to their subject and faculty specializations. There is an online textbook order form, and a desk copy form – which contains a spreadsheet of publisher contacts. The online order form is designed to link directly to buying staff and provides a textbook status web link. Suggested timelines are provided in this section as well.
Section Two – Course Kits:
Course Kits has a link to its own pages of information and order form.
Section Three – Other Resources:
This new section provides you with a separate “New Faculty Kit” of information to help new faculty – and staff – fathom their way through course material ordering. There are also pages with links to the bookstore’s Stationery and General Books departments and one devoted to event and conference marketing support.
