The annual Cup-of-Soup event for the United Way will once again be serving up warm goodness in a cup Monday.
There will be a choice of vegetarian or traditional soup with a bun for $3 on Nov. 26, from noon to 2pm, in Central Square. All proceeds will go to the United Way. The soup is donated by Attilio Perrone of Michelangelo’s and hosted by York’s Division of Students.
The final participation draw will take place at 9:30am, Wednesday, Nov. 28 at the Schulich French toast breakfast with a chance to win the grand prize of two tickets to anywhere Air Canada flies, donated by York grad John F. Bankes (LLB/MBA ’77).
Every pledge to the United Way helps to build a city where every person is able to reach their full potential; a city where every neighbourhood is thriving; a city that is healthy today; a city poised for a bright future.
