Contest closes Friday: Name York U’s new employee Intranet for a chance to win an iPad Mini

This spring, York University will launch a new Intranet for employees. To celebrate, the Better Workplace project group is holding a contest to find a name for the new Intranet. One lucky faculty or staff employee could win a new iPad Mini valued at $329 just for coming up with the winning name before everyone else. Time is running out because the contest closes on Friday, Jan. 25.

Each employee can submit up to two entries for a chance to win. Be specific in your entry by including your suggested name and a brief explanation about why you think it is the winning name. If you haven’t already done so, click here to access the contest details and entry form, and remember to submit it by no later than 5pm on Friday, Jan. 25.

The entries will be short-listed by the Better Workplace Advisory Council, a pan-University group that has been working on better workplace practices and policies. The short-listed names will be announced in YFile and all employees may vote for their favourite. The short-listed name with the most votes wins.

The winner will be announced Tuesday, Feb. 26.
