A team from Osgoode Hall Law School has won the first-ever Canadian Family Law Moot. The Walsh Family Law Moot was held March 16 at the Ontario Court of Appeal in Toronto.

The competition was sponsored by the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. The law schools participating in the moot were York University, the University of Western Ontario, Windsor University, Queen’s University, and University of Ottawa.
Osgoode had a stellar showing and swept a number of the major awards:
First Place Oralist: Camille Dunbar
Third Place Oralist: Ann Marina Guirguis
Top Appellant team: Ann Marina Guirguis and Jeremy Loeb
Top Respondent team: Camille Dunbar and Florind Polo
