Spring is here, and York Youth Connection (YYC) summer day camp registration is now open. Spots are still available for the session that starts July 2.
For nearly 40 years, the YYC day camp has provided children of York University’s faculty, staff, students and alumni and neighbouring community youth with inspiring, interdisciplinary and innovative experiences.
The fun and learning continues this summer with an exciting new curriculum and activities designed to foster passion for creativity and learning. Programming spans health and fitness, performing arts and presentation, art and design, eco-science and leadership. There is something for everyone in this unique university-based program that emphasizes community and collaboration. YYC offers three sessions in 2013, with a fresh leadership component for all campers and discounts for York employees, students and alumni.
Check out what’s new by visiting the YYC website. Be sure to register your young camper today.
For more information, read about YYC in the Alumni Matters newsletter or in the upcoming YorkU magazine article in the summer 2013 issue.
