On Sunday, Aug. 25, come out for an afternoon of fun as the York University Lions football team take on the Queen’s University Gaels. The game marks the official season opener. Presented by the Etobicoke Guardian, game action will take place at the Centennial Park Stadium, located just south of Lester B. Pearson International Airport and near the intersection of Rathburn Road and Renforth Drive. Kick off is set for 1pm.
The York Lions mascot will be at the game and available for photos, there will be contests and giveaways throughout the game and concessions will be available. So bring your family and friends out for a great day of fun and football!
