One lucky fan will win an ultimate 10-day trip to Australia for two, courtesy of TravelCUTS and Topdeck Travel, when the York University Lions football team hosts the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees at the annual Homecoming game on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Kick-off for the game is set for 1pm at York Stadium and tickets can be purchased at the gate beginning at 11:30am.
To enter the contest, complete a ballot inside the main entrance of York Stadium to be randomly selected as 1 of 5 contestants to participate in the contest during the third quarter break. No purchase is necessary and the contest is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are between the ages of 18 and 39 years.

The trip giveaway is the highlight of a full day of activities at the football game. In addition to the exciting action on the field, the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative Homecoming 2013 T-shirt. There will be food trucks, face painting and more.
During halftime, the field at York Stadium will be taken over by first-year students from York’s nine colleges, who will compete against each other in an obstacle course for a chance to win a $500 YU-Card.
The football game is just one event in a long list of many for Homecoming 2013, the biggest campus Homecoming celebration hosted at York University in years. From Sept. 26 to 29, the Keele campus will be in full celebration mode with alumni from the last 50 years coming back to cheer on the Lions, connect with their colleges, check out what’s new, attend York Circle lectures delivered by leading York alumni and professors, and eat fantastic food.
