There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, Oct. 30 for Professor Emerita Clara Thomas, one of York’s founding female faculty members. Thomas died in Strathroy, Ont., at the age of 94, on Sept. 26. The memorial will take place at 1:30pm in the Scott Religious Centre on York University’s Keele campus. All are welcome to attend the memorial.

To gain access to the Scott Religious Centre Chapel, enter the Scott Library and take the escalator to the second (mezzanine level). At the mezzanine level, follow the signs that will lead you to the chapel.
The University flags will be lowered to half-mast in tribute to Prof. Thomas.
