To perform electrical switchgear maintenance and connection of temporary power to construction trailers at the new engineering building site, there will be a half-day power shutdown at the William Small Centre and Arboretum Lane Parking Garage on Sunday, Nov. 17, from 7 to 11am.
The electrical shutdown will affect the entire electrical supply to the building, however, some equipment will be supported by the emergency generator (i.e. elevators, lighting, life safety fixtures). The gas generator for the Emergency Operations Centre will also be operational.
