The 14th annual York University Retirees Association (YURA) Showcase and Sale returns for another great year on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 9am to 3pm, in the East Bear Pit and Central Square corridor on York’s Keele campus. This annual event includes the ever-popular bake sale.
In addition to the yummy baked goods, exhibitors and vendors will be presenting quality hand-crafted items, original works of art and photography and Canadian antique furniture. The sale offers a great opportunity to do your Christmas and holiday shopping without the stress of crowded malls.
Returning this year is the Attic Treasures table. There will be a wide selection of readily re-giftable items., including jewellery, picture frames, stuffed animals, unopened jigsaw puzzles, Christmas decorations and more.
All proceeds from the bake sale and attic treasurers are donated to the William Small Award and Mature Student Bursary.
