“We were pleased to host General Walter Natynczyk, president of the Canadian Space Agency, and other members of the Canadian Space Agency during their visit to York,” said Robert Haché, York’s vice-president research & innovation. “The purpose of the visit was to enable General Natynczyk to meet with researchers at York and to highlight the depth of renowned space research taking place at the University.”

The visit provided an opportunity for York University to showcase research on laser remote sensing, the Phoenix Mars mission, nano-satellite development, the OSIRIS-Rex mission and other instruments for planetary exploration.
