Harriet Lewis received both a bachelor and master of arts in English at York. . . . The native of Medicine Hat, Alta., was appointed York’s university counsel in 1988 and, in addition, university secretary in 1998. No puck luck as Aurora's Tuck drafted to CFL
Football as a second career option seems to be working out nicely for James Tuck, a five-foot, 11-inch, 230-pound defensive end for the York University Lions. The Aurora resident never played organized football until after high school. Yet, when the Canadian Football League draft rolled around Tuesday, the 23-year-old was a fourth-round pick – 31st overall – for the Montreal Alouettes, reported the Aurora Banner May 20.
