And the winners are...

Last month, faculty and staff at York University were challenged to send a photo or video inspired by tennis for a chance to win one of two pairs of gold tickets and one pair of silver tickets (a last minute contribution) to the Rogers Cup.

Some 30 entries were submitted to through YU Link, the University’s intranet.  After a random draw, the following York community members were picked.

Winners of the two pairs of gold tickets:

  • Christine Till, a professor in the Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Health. Till’s entry is titled “Tennis Outfit with ball container with straw”.
  • Trevor Farrow, associate dean and a professor in Osgoode Hall Law School. Farrow’s entry showed his nine-year-old son playing tennis.

The winner of the pair of silver tickets:

  • Cameron Rogers, assistant comptroller and budget planner in the Office of Budgets and Planning Department in the Division of Finance. Rogers' entry was inspired by staffer Elizabeth Kamar playing tennis.

The tickets were awarded and the group enjoyed game action on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

The winning entries will be posted on the University's intranet. To view the winning entries, visit YU Link.
