The York University Lions football team will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 25 with an afternoon game against the University of Waterloo Warriors at York Stadium.

The match will begin at 1pm and can also be seen live online on OUA.tv.

In addition to the action on the field, there will be many fun activities for fans in attendance. Among the prizes up for grabs are Best Seats in the House – a hot tub at the 55-yard line – $500 in gift cards for the Shopsy's Fan of the Game, $1,000 cash for the College Halftime Challenge and a Lions toss, presented by Investors Group. The first 800 fans will also receive a York Lions string bag.

At the conclusion of the game, fans can enjoy a foam and pizza party with the football team right inside York Stadium.

Tickets are free for all York students with the presentation of a YU-card. For all other fans, ticket information can be found at yorkulions.ca/tickets.

The two squads haven't met since 2012, when the Warriors edged the Lions by a single point – 23-22 – in Week 4. The Warriors led the contest 23-11 after three quarters before the Lions mounted an exciting fourth-quarter response, scoring a touchdown with 4:30 left and then getting a pair of conceded safeties. But the final drive ended with an interception in the end zone, cutting the Lions comeback attempt just short.
