CUPE 3903 has posted that they will add evening picket lines from 3:30 to 7: 30pm. As a result, this will impact evening transportation services on campus. Effective Monday, March 30, note the following changes:
- TTC, GO Transit and Brampton Transit (Zum) will only service their regular routes and bus stops on campus after 8:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- York Region Transit/Viva will service their regular routes/bus stops on campus in the morning, prior to 7am, and after 7:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- The Village Shuttles schedule will be adjusted to allow for more travel time. Schedule details can be found on the Transportation Services website.
- On weekends, all public transit agencies will continue to service their regular routes and bus stops on campus, providing there are no picket lines.
For more information on the temporary bus stops off campus, visit the Transportation Services information website.
Wheel-Trans (TTC) and Mobility Plus (YRT) will continue to service their regular stops on campus both day and evening. Anyone with mobility issues who requires assistance getting to or from the temporary bus stops can contact vango@yorku.ca.
Additionally, as of Monday, March 30, goSAFE will be starting service as of 4pm and operating on an enhanced service schedule at the Keele campus to better assist community members getting safely to and from on-campus locations, which includes campus boundaries near relocated public transit stops.
