Due to the Pan Am/Parapan Am Games events at York’s Keele campus, only pre-registered vehicles will have access to Thompson Road until July 25 and from Aug. 2 to 14.
Community members who work in buildings along Thompson Road are being reminded to avoid deliveries, when possible, on those dates. Those requiring urgent deliveries are asked to contact their facility manager in advance to have the deliveries placed on the master schedule.
Furthermore, on July 16 at approximately 1pm, there will be a delivery of two trailers for the broadcast compound (south of the Tait McKenzie Tennis Courts). This will further impact the road restrictions on Thompson Road while the trailers are getting into their proper positions.
