McLaughlin College resumes its popular Lunch Talk series and will present four events during the month of October, beginning with Your Vote 2015 on Thursday, Oct. 15.
Your Vote 2015 features events on campus to help inform students about the Oct. 19 federal election. Political science Professors Jacqueline Krikoran, David Leyton Brown, David Mutimer and Lesley Jacobs will be on hand to lead the discussion and field questions.
The theme of this discussion will be “How to Use Your Vote,” with an emphasis on questions such as:
"Aren’t they (political parties) all the same?" and "How can you decide which party will do the kinds of things you want?"
It takes place on Oct. 15 from noon to 1:30pm in the Senior Common Room, 140 McLaughlin College. Everyone is welcome and light refreshments will be served. The event is co-sponsored by the Office of the Master, McLaughlin College, and the Department of Political Science.
A final Your Vote 2015 session, titled What Happened?, is scheduled for Oct. 21 (post-election) and details will be made available on the McLaughlin College calendar of events.
On Monday, Oct. 19, McLaughlin College presents the Lunch Talk titled Life in Law School, delivered by Paul Di Libero.
