A variety of exciting products and services will be up for auction on Nov. 23 and 24 when York University’s Division of Advancement hosts its second annual silent auction in support of the United Way.
The event will be held over two lunch periods, from noon to 2pm, in the Big Egg, West Office Building, and is open to all York staff and faculty.
The silent auction returns after a highly successful 2014 event.
Run as a “skills swap,” the fundraiser features items made and provided by York staff and faculty. Last year, it included hand-blown glass ornaments, home-baked treats, ice wine, art, prepared lunches for one week and more.
Those interested in bidding must attend in person.

The York Cares Campaign has reached 50 per cent of its $220,000 goal. The pledge campaign runs until Wednesday, Nov. 25.
