This marks the 10th straight year that Schulich has participated in the CNN Expansión ranking, and the 10th straight year in which the school has earned the top spot in Canada and among the world’s top 25 business schools. No other Canadian business schools were ranked among the top 50 this year, or at any other time during the history of the ranking.

“We’re proud to have been rated by a major global survey as one of the top 25 business schools in the world,” said Schulich Dean Dezsö J. Horváth. “(The) CNN Expansión results also mark the sixth time this academic year that one of Schulich’s MBA or EMBA programs has been ranked No. 1 in Canada by a global survey, and in one of those surveys, our MBA program was ranked No. 1 in the world.”

In placing 24th overall, Schulich finished just behind Kellogg, IMD and Cambridge, and ahead of Carnegie Mellon and CEIBS. Schulich placed ninth among business schools outside of the U.S., and 16th among business schools in North America. Harvard finished first overall, with Stanford taking second spot and Wharton placing third.

The CNN Expansión Best Global MBAs ranking, established in 2006, is the premier global survey conducted by a Latin American-based business media outlet. The survey rates leading MBA programs from around the world using a broad range of criteria, including academic quality, return on investment and global value. The survey employs a predominantly statistical-based methodology to rank business schools, with points awarded in key areas of measurement such as international scope and orientation, average GMAT, post-MBA average salary and average salary percentage increase, and faculty research output.
