York University is home to a wide array of summer programs. From exploring the wonders of science and engineering in the Science Explorations Camps to learning karate or dance through the Lion’s Summer Sports Camps, there is something for everyone on the University’s campuses. York is committed to ensuring access to its programs.
The York Camps Subsidy Fund provides low-income children and youth the opportunity to attend a summer camp at York University. Families apply to the fund for financial aid to cover the program fee. If they meet the subsidy criteria they will be granted entrance to one of the participating summer camps taking place on the York University campuses. The fund is supported by generous donors who are passionate about enhancing access to high quality summer programming for young people. The fund is managed by the Office of Community Relations in the Division of Advancement.
