Please be advised that steam-driven chiller testing will take place at the Central Utilities Building (CUB) on Tuesday May 17 between 8am and noon.
During the test period, Albany Road will be closed from the intersection of Chimneystack Road to the entrance of the Albany Road Parking Lot. For those needing access to the Albany Road Lot, please use Severn Road as an alternate route.
During the test, large amounts of low pressure steam vapor will be released into the atmosphere in the area of the west side of the CUB. This steam vapor may be mistaken for smoke originating from a fire. Noise impact to the surrounding area will be moderate.
