Beginning at 6am on Wednesday, July 6, and continuing until Wednesday, Aug. 10, a portion of the pedestrian sidewalk between the east end of York Lanes and the Kaneff Tower will be closed. During the week, pedestrian access will be maintained through a temporary path running from the south side of the Kaneff Tower to the east end of York Lanes.
On weekends during the closure, pedestrians will be asked to use Vanier Lane and York Lanes to detour.
Both the inbound and outbound TTC transit routes and bus stops will remain the same.
Construction work will include hoe-ramming, landscaping and paving. Noise and vibration is to be expected during these operations. Hoe-ramming work will take place on the weekend of July 9 and 10. Additional hoe-ramming activities may occur intermittently after July 10, but only outside of normal office hours.
The full notice with the pedestrian path graphic is available on theĀ TTC website.
