A seminar exploring the mind-body relationship will feature special guest speaker Swami Maheshananda Saraswati on Oct. 6 in the Behavioral Sciences Building at 4pm.
The event, “Integration of Mind and Body: from a Yogic Perspective” is presented by York University & the Healthy Student Initiative and is open to all.
Maheshananda Saraswati has an engineering degree and a masters in yoga philosophy. He has 25 years of experience teaching yoga, nationally and internationally, having conducted yoga seminars at notable universities worldwide, including Harvard, Princeton, University of Minnesota, University of Texas and Bremen University in Germany.
He leads special yoga retreats in Tibet, Iceland, Peru, Antarctica, and throughout the world. His articulate and engaging teaching technique has opened yogic disciplines to those curious about this ancient wisdom.
