McLaughlin College will offer a five-session Critical Thinking Series presented by Sociology Professor Robert A. Kenedy, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, running from January to March.

The series includes:

Academic Critical Thinking – Tuesday, Jan. 17

What does my professor want? How can I make the writing process less painful? Where can I get help? This series will give students some practical strategies for critical thinking and tackling academic writing at the university level. Students are encouraged to bring along assignment questions from their courses.

The series is hosted by the Office of the Master, McLaughlin College, and each session will run from 12:30 to 1:30pm in the Senior Common Room, 140 McLaughlin College. Light refreshments will be provided.
