Volunteers needed to help with York University’s convocation ceremonies

Would you like to celebrate student success? It takes a team of more than 150 student-staff and staff volunteers to make sure York University’s Convocation ceremonies run smoothly and are enjoyable for graduates and their guests.

University Events & Ceremonials is looking for new volunteers to join the team and will be holding two information sessions on Friday, Feb. 24 in Room 519, Kaneff Tower. Bring your lunch and learn about the role of Convocation Key Coordinators, the time commitment involved, and what role might be right for you. This opportunity is for staff only. Opportunities for paid student-staff employment during Convocation will be posted on the Convocation website at the end of March.

Sessions will be held at 12pm and 1pm. To register attend the information session, sign up at http://bit.ly/2jnuy1n, or email Liz McMahan at lmcmahan@yorku.ca for more information.
