The Israel & Golda Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Studies at York University will host the 2017 Leonard Wolinsky Lectures on Jewish Life and Education on March 26.
“Anti-Semitism and Academia: Past and Present” will feature Professor Susannah Heschel of Dartmouth College, who will deliver the talk “Scholarship in an Age of Politics: Lessons from the Third Reich”; while Professor Cary Nelson of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will give a talk titled “When Does Campus Anti-Israel Sentiment Cross the Line into Antisemitism?”
The lecture will take place at 2pm in the Tribute Communities Recital Hall, Accolade East Building, York University. A reception is scheduled between the two lectures.
