The Lumbers East Parking Lot will be temporarily closed on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 1am to 6pm. The closure is required to accommodate a crane that will be located north of the Farquharson loading dock.
As a result of the closure, there will be no access to the Farquharson loading dock, the Lumbers East doors or the Lumbers East Parking Lot.
The items that will be lifted will arrive on numerous flatbeds that will require the closure of the entire Lumbers East Parking Lot.
How will this impact the community?
Access along the walkway between the Farquharson Life Sciences and the Lumbers buildings will be impeded and pedestrians should avoid the area, or travel either south of Farquharson Life Sciences or north of Lumbers.
When travelling through the immediate construction area, watch for and adhere to all pedestrian signage, as well as traffic control personnel assigned to the site.
