York launches the Service Effectiveness Survey – Part 2 related to services that support teaching and research

To better understand the current distribution of services and activities in support of teaching and research and the University’s academic mission, over the next few weeks all full-time faculty and CPM staff at York University will be invited to participate in the Service Effectiveness Survey – Part 2.

The survey is being conducted as part of Project Benchmark, a strategic initiative resulting from recommendations of the AAPR and the IIRP Quality Administrative Services reviews. Part 2 of the survey will provide an opportunity to give feedback on an additional 35 administrative services that support teaching and research. (Note: There will be an overlap of five services between Surveys Part 1 and 2.)

Like Part 1 of the survey, Part 2 will ask staff and faculty to identify those services that are most important to them in their role at York, and whether services from core service areas are effective. The survey will provide a closer look at satisfaction levels, gathered from both service providers and end users, to help us make informed decisions about how we can continue to improve service delivery at York.

To ensure confidentiality, the survey is being conducted by a third party. Those invited will receive an email invitation from the executive sponsors, administered by a third party, on Tuesday, Oct. 9. We encourage you to participate and share your feedback.
