York Cares United Way Campaign hosts a silent auction Nov. 14 and 15

The Division of Advancement will host its annual silent auction in support of the 2018 York Cares United Way Campaign on Nov. 14 and 15 from 12 to 2 p.m. in Room 135 (the Big Egg), West Office Building.

Organizers invite University community members to come and bid on one of the many items that will be available. Some of the items up for auction include:

  • original art;
  • one-year planetary membership to the Ontario Science Centre;
  • hand-blown glass bowls;
  • Dungeons and Dragons Adventure;
  • knitted and sewn items;
  • tickets to Ripley’s Aquarium;
  • baked and savory goods;
  • tickets to The Girl in the Photograph and The Exonerated (Vanier College Productions);
  • signed Toronto Maple Leafs jersey;
  • Kobo Aura eReader;
  • handmade jewelry;
  • Toronto Police ride-along;
  • and much more.

Proceeds from the silent auction go towards the United Way Greater Toronto.

Community members should use the West Office Building entrance facing the York Lions Stadium and dial ext. 22358 or 58090 at the door for access to the auction. For more information, contact yucares@yorku.ca.
