Sotirios Steve Vouzoukos, a valued member of the Central Utilities Team, died suddenly on Monday, May 27. A new addition to the York University community, Mr. Vouzoukos had been with Central Utilities since Jan. 14, 2019.
Known for his outgoing nature, generous smile and wonderful personality, Mr. Vouzoukos will be missed by his many colleagues at York University. He is survived by his wife Fatima.
There will be a visitation for Mr. Vouzoukos on Thursday, May 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East in Thornhill. The Funeral Mass will take place Friday May 31 starting at 10:45 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Joseph in Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home.
He was the cherished son to Mary and the late John and loving brother to Chris. Son-in-law to Maria and the late Antonio and brother-in-law to Tony and his wife Emily and uncle to Alicia. He will be greatly missed by his fur babies Bailey and Molly and lovingly remembered in the hearts of his family and many friends here in Toronto and in Greece.
The flags on the York University Keele and Glendon campuses will fly at half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Friday, May 31 in memory of Mr. Vouzoukos.
