There will be temporary lane closures on Thompson Road, alternating between the north and south lanes, from Monday, Aug. 19 to Thursday, Aug. 22, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
These lane closures are required to complete urgent steam repairs. The road will be plated for vehicle use when possible. As the repairs progress, a three- to five-hour road closure may be needed. For larger vehicle to access to loading docks, the contractor will temporarily relocate their equipment.
Traffic control measures will be in place to ensure the safety of those driving through the worksite. Please watch for and obey all traffic signs and traffic control personnel. Minor traffic delays should be anticipated.
Steam to the West Office Building and York Lions Stadium may be affected during the repairs.
