York University is in the process of developing an Integrated, Institutional-level Strategic Plan for Internationalization and Global Engagement (I3SP).
The I3SP will be the basis of a pan-university effort that will build on York’s strengths to create a distinct vision and expand opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to contribute to local and global impact.
The President’s Council on Internationalization & Global Engagement was established this spring. Over the past four months, representatives from across the University have provided input into the preparation of an issue paper on internationalization and global engagement.
As part of the planning process, York University community members are invited to the launch of the new issue paper. The launch will also mark the start of university-wide consultations to shape the next phase of internationalization and global engagement at York.
The launch event will take place on Sept. 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. in 519 Kaneff Tower, Keele Campus. To assist with event planning, community members are asked to RSVP by visiting the President’s Council on Internationalization & Global Engagement web page.
