The University and CUPE have engaged in a robust schedule of bargaining meetings including with the assistance of a mediator and conciliation officers. While slow progress has been made the parties remain far apart in reaching an agreement.
The University had no choice but to take the next step in the bargaining process and today it asked the conciliation officers to request a No Board Report.
